Our Mission
Rising Tides exists to lift up great artists and great music, no matter where they are in their musical journey.
A rising tide raises all ships.
Filmed aboard a boat on Percy Priest Lake, Rising Tides Sessions brings artists out on the water to perform live and share a little about the stories behind their music.
Rising Tides was founded by singer-songwriter and filmmaker Patrick Dwyer with a simple idea: create a unique experience for artists while giving audiences a new way to discover great music.
Whether you have 20 listeners or 20 million, it doesn’t matter. If you have a great song, we want to hear it. We want the artist just starting out, as well as the artist who’s been doing this for years, to be excited to come aboard and feel like they’re part of something special.
With every artist we feature, we hope to build a community that discovers, supports, and lifts up one another. And above all, we want everyone who comes aboard to have fun, make something great, and leave feeling like family.
About the Founder
Patrick Dwyer
Patrick Dwyer is a singer-songwriter, filmmaker, director, producer, and performer with more than 13 years of experience across music, film, television, and digital media.
His career has taken him from behind the camera to stages around the world, performing alongside artists and entertainers including Nicole Scherzinger, Macy Gray, Nick Carter, and Ken Jeong, while working on projects involving names such as Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Shakira, Dr. Dre, and many more.
As both a filmmaker and recording artist, Patrick has spent years on both sides of the camera, experiencing firsthand what it takes to create great work and the challenge of getting that work seen and heard.
He founded Rising Tides to bring those worlds together, creating a platform where great music and the artists behind it can be discovered, regardless of where they are in their journey.

For the Nashville Sessions, Patrick collaborates with Nashville musician and producer Jacob Merlin, who has spent years building Anchored Artists, a community created to connect and support artists throughout Nashville.
